UPM is pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the 6th Global Water Operators’ Partnerships (WOPs) Congress, organized by GWOPA/UN-Habitat, to be held 27–30 October 2025 in Bonn, Germany.
This flagship event, convening every two years, is the foremost meeting place dedicated to water and sanitation utilities within the UN system, bringing together water and sanitation operators, utilities, governments, development partners, and sector stakeholders from around the world to share knowledge, build partnerships, and strengthen capacities to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (universal access to safe water and sanitation).
The 6th Global WOPs Congress will be on the overarching theme of ‘Solidarity in Action: Stronger Utilities for Thriving Cities.’ It will focus on fostering innovation, climate action and resilience, and inclusive service delivery through solidarity-based partnerships in water and sanitation.
Dr. Ralph Westermann and Mr. Roman Ryndin from UPM will participate the Congress. At the Congress, UPM will engage in sessions across thematic tracks such as Innovation, Climate Resilience, and Enabling Environments for WOPs, exchanging expertise and exploring collaborative opportunities with other global actors. We are looking forward to connecting with partners, sharing knowledge, and collaborating on solutions for the world’s most pressing water and sanitation challenges.
