The new platform replaces www.upm-cdm.eu and reflects UPM’s repositioning following the announced phase-out of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) by 2026 and the evolving international climate framework.

As carbon markets and climate finance continue to evolve, UPM is strengthening its focus on the development of high-impact carbon projects and the provision of technical support for climate mitigation. The company concentrates on renewable energy, waste management, waste-to-energy, and sanitation projects.
